Engine case picture

Post by mammoth200 »

Hey folks, just after a favour. Could someone with a mk2 onward engine please take a photo for me of the gear lever area of their engine casing, I'm interested with the area just behind the sprocket, on the inside of the case that's where the back of the selector drum sits, and I'm sure there's supposed to be a plate or something of that nature there and I don't have it! all help appreciated :)

The question of 'why' comes to mind with that sprocket, but that picture is bang on, thank you muchly! Turns out I'm missing the neutral switch, instead I've just got a dollop of chemical metal wedged in there... something else I'll need to buy, great!
