Coloured chains anyone??

Post by njhardy »

Really trying to find a chrome or gold-linked chain to fit my 14-51 tooth sprockets- don't mind what make, but would prefer o-ring if possible. Anyone know possible suppliers??

gold is easy... almost all chain manufacturers have gold variants for a few extra $'s.

any decent sized bike store will have atleast 3 or 4 gold chains to choose from in your size.

chrome on the other hand, Im not sure... Id be seeing what some of the cafe racer guys are using... they seem to like their chrome

Once they're lubed up, isn't the colour pretty irrelevant?

Nice one mike- I will keep the peepers peeled after you bought up all the stock!! Is the 520 the correct size (diameter and length) for all CRM's then- I need it to fit my extremely large 51 rear sprocket??

It's a 118 links,so will need some pruning for appropiate gearing, but that's no problem, better to long than to short.
