Wiring Behind Headlight Pictures

Post by HotWired »

Is someone able to post a picture of how the wiring/plugs behind the headlight and under the speedo should look. It seems to be the only photo I didnt take when disassembling the bike.

Thanks in advance.

well it is seriously spaghetti behind there so these general views may not help. Let me know if you need more specific picys or to know which connectors are for what.

It's a bit dusty where Skidmark rides :!: ;) .

TBH Hotwire the wirng connections are pretty obvious as the connectors are one-way or same colour. You then just tidy them away as best as possible.

WD40 lots of and an old tooth brush thats what I would use if you can get some contact cleaner then thats even better. I really enjoy cleaning the electrics up behind the headlight on my mk3.

I have a few photos of wiring behind head light of my Mk3 but am struggling to work out how to attach them to a reply. If having problems in FAQ it says to contact board administrator - who might that be? Thanks

MK3 and AR are a bit different so be careful - knackeredMk1's advice is best - match the connectors and then just secure all the 'hanging' bits safely.
