I recently fitted boyesen reeds to my crm but I refitted the standard rev guards. would this have much of an affect on performance as so far I can't really tell any difference at all. Should I fit the boyesen rev plates that came with the reeds?.

I haven't fitted these reeds, but I am interested to know if they are worth fitting and what advantages they have over standard.

You should read and follow the instructions that come with the boyesen reeds. This will tell you to get rid of the old stops and fit the new ones that come in the pack. See FAQs....................
