Hi i really dont want to repeat anything that has already been said so please delete if this is already covered.

I go my bike last saturday done about 3 miles and went to pull away and if felt like i spun the back end and then it was all wobbly. The tyre pressure was really low. So rode very carefully to get to the garage and the wobble stopped and when i put some air in was all ok again. But after 3 miles same again lost all air and wobble.

Not having had any sort of motox or enduro before this is stange to me. It held the air over night but seemed to lose when riding.

The rim is showing a patch of corrosion thats about 3mm deep so i can either get new tyre and inner tube and give it a try or should i just source another wheel? Any advise welcome.

Wheel corrosion is a problem as I found out recently on both of my wheels.
If a tube is punctured normally it won't hold air. I would check the tube for holes and around valve area. Mark it and check the rim in that area.
I know there is a thing call rim lock wich stops tube from rotating. I have no experience with that, but I had one in my rear wheel. Maybe thats causing you problems?

Remember that you need a rim tape (plastic/rubber strip) that fits inside the rim and between the rim and the inner tube.

Sounds like you have a slow puncture in the inner tube.

Sounds like small hole in the tube.
Take the wheel apart to check the state of the rim internally.
Put some puncture prevention gloop in the tube, [ brilliant stuff].
Put it all back together, easy peasy, for me to say.

When you've got the tube off, fill a large bucket of water, put the valve back in and blow the tube up....not too much though.....then submerge the tube in the bucket of water turn it slowly, make sure you submerge the valve too, and look for bubbles. Check the inside of the tyre too for any sharp edges.

Do a Google search for 'fitting/removing dirt bike tyres' you'll get a few useful tips.

fitted this type of but will check all of the above carefully.
