Am I right in thinking the swingarm bearings on my MK3 are the same as XR400 ones?
I think I used an all balls kit for an XR on my last one, but can't remember

Norhing special about swingarm bearings, you'll get better quality from the local bearing shop.

+1 and you can get wider swinging arm bearings from a bearing factor shop, thus better at spreading the load.

I have fitted 1 set of original swingarm bearings and 4 sets of XR400 Allballs kits to my CRMs.

In the XR400 kits the bearing spacers are a little bit longer than the original spacers, 2 kits fitted, 2 kits needed the spacers just sanding on emery cloth to take .5mm off of them. (it depends how wide the frame is, they vary slightly at engine mounts).

Better value than the honda parts.

Now I have my notes in front of me...

the swingarm bearings and seals are generic parts, I was going to do a nice bearing conversion tbale but you get the preview. You need:

4x HK2012 bearings (Honda part number 91106-KF0-008)
2x Dust seals 20x26x4.5 (Honda part 91254-KS6-003)

The rest of the parts aren't generic items that I have found so far.

Thanks for the reply's, just got to see if the spindle is seized first, I'm betting it will be
Want to get my other project finished first ( not a CRM ), before I strip it down as room is tight in the garage
