Hi. I have just finished reassembling the back end of the bike and all lights work, including the rear light.....but not the brake light, either on front brake or rear brake. Have just replaced the bulb to no effect. Any suggestions?
Thanks, Phil.

Wiring fault or blown filament.

Possibly a poor contact, in the bulb holder, time for Mr multi meter.

If it worked before I would assume its the brake light power connector, on the AR they are quite a tight fit when reassembling and the connector may not be a good connection, it happened to me on one reassembly.

I got rid of all the original rear brake light switches and springs / wires and put the simple hydraulic ones on.

Hydraulic switches +1. Getting back to the original can be overrated.

Thanks for all the feedback. I will have a fiddle around with the connectors and switches and report back on progress.

Thanks, Phil.

Checked out the connector between the rear wiring loom and the main harness - gave it a good soaking in connector cleaner spray and checked the pin connections were sound. The rear brake needed a bit of fiddling and adjustment to work although am getting no response from the front brake. Suggestions? Thanks.

Thanks Mike. Went to do the 'shorting' test and found a poor connection on the switch. All sorted now. Thanks for the help. Phil.
