There are a number of tubes running to and from and around the carb. Most are in poor condition so I would like to renew them.

Anyone know where I can get a set from? or an alternative. I know I could just measure and buy but some of them seem to be pre shaped.

Need to clean up my carb and air filter in the next few days then put her back together so if there isn't anything available I will just make do.

The clear/ opaque jobbies are the carb breathers and overflows.
5mm plastic pipe from motor factors shop, or even better silicone pipe.
Link out the breathers above the carb using again from the motorist shop a 3 way windscreen washer fitting.
Then take the pipe to either the headstock or the air box.
The overflow pipe, drains down to near the linkage assembly.
Either wrap the end in some sponge, or cut to 45 degs, to help stop crud blocking the end up.
The water hoses, whose purpose is to stop carb icing, which is a condition were unlikely to get in this country can be removed altogether, [ which I have done] obviously you need to seal the ends where these formerly attached.
This is the last time I'm writing this flow chart, I'm sure I've written it on at least 4 occasions before.

I wish I had the water pipes to my carb on the KDX220 a few years ago, it carb iced regularly in wintery wales.

Thanks, can see it pained you to fill me in! FAQ's take longer than asking the question! Sorry! Will attempt to get the right stuff and route the tubes as you have recommended.

Found out some aquarium air line. Silicon clear pipe which looks like it will do a nice job!

Wouldn't use that as it probably won't be heat resistant. Use radiator water hose pipe from a car or pressurised fuel line. Buy at the correct diameter and cut to length. That is for the carb heater side.

Sillicone tubes for the rest are fine.

Silicon is inherently heat proof isn't it? It's only the overflows I am talking about, I am leaving the water pipes. When I was removing the carbs I removed one of the water pipes and was shocked to see coolant! Now I know why it's there! i will just leave it as Honda meant it to be as I can't really understand why it should be removed. Seems easier to just leave it in situe.

Will have a think about this pipe I found before using.

From experience, your first question is almost always followed a short while later by the questions you didn't ask,[on this occasion]. I merely took the opportunity to expand my answer to include this information.
The water pipes generally look quite scabby on most bikes, so removing them as surplus to requirement was my answer, not necessarily my avocation.Feel free to ignore any of the drivel I post that my ownership of CRMs has taught me.

I appreciate everything you said. Great advice however for now I will just replace like for like in terms of where they go as I will only do something wrong.

Your right though, I would have asked more and the water pipes do look scabby.
I need to get it back together though and running right as I have an off road day to go on and am taking this bike.
