just got the CRM250AR out after its winter break and it wont start

ignition on, kill switch on and nothing......hhmmmm, so i stripped the magneto down give it a good clean and still nowt.

put a drill on the 17mm nut for the magneto drum and span it for 2-3 mins n still nowt, not even a flicker from the neutral light.

going to check the kill switch and the ignition for now.

any one got any ideas???

Spark plug?

damp on the electrics?

have u got a multi -meter?

any voltage getting to the regulator? ( any of the 3 yellow wires? have AC volts? )

if nothing there then your stator isnt kicking out any ellecy..

if u have power in to RR then check the DC output of RR

if that passes then the capactitor - but the bike will run with out the cap - but wont have any lights/horn or PV..

the neutral light could be frigged either way? or the stator is suspect?

sidestand switch, if fitted.

fixed it it was the back of the ignition switch oxidised to hell, all shiny and clean now and fires up 1st kick once warm.
