Shiny Exhausts

the crm is cummin bak down my house within the next couples of weeks coz the new trailer is built now. Im gonna try puttin on the cr 250 top end on it and i have got the cr 250 power pipe which used to be a chrome dep. if i got it back to silver again then lacquered it with heat laquer would it protect it from going rusty again?

In Halfords you can buy aluminium colour high temperature paint for £5.99 a tin (you may need 2 tins) I am not sure if it is any good, might be worth a try. or paul told me that leisuretrail rechrome them for about £45.
Look in the yellow pages you may find a chrome company near you!

that paint sounds good, have you seen it? does it look like chrome? cheers

I have not seen it on anything but I will be using some to cover the rusty scratches from my last two crashes I will tell you how i get on with it, you will probably have to wait til I get chance though!

mmmmmmm shiny engine cool, i never thought of that.

Im gonna spray my goggles lenses with it that should look good. :P

yeah great, arent u forgetting that the idea of goggles is to protect ur eyes from flying crap and LET U SEE OUTTA THEM!lol
if it does look gud den i think the whole engine will be done with hints of gloss blach here and there, or maybe red to go with the bike. dunno yet ill decide as i go along
