Guys,

The question says it all. Im putting the bike back together and need to find out what my torque wrench settings should be in lb-ft or nm as all the settings are listed in kg-m in the LT manual. Specifically im after the setting for the swingarm pivot bolt.

Cheers

i usually ask jeeves for a conversion tool, there are quite a few Java sites that you put one in and it gives you the other.

Thanks Phil,

For anyone else who needs the information:

1kg-m = 9.81N-m = 7.23lb-ft

To the Torque Wrench!

Ah,
So what does the manual say - my (old) copy doesn't have a torque setting for the swingarm pivot - I just did it 'tight and then some'!
Cheers

Thanks - I'll re-torque it next time I've got my spanners out.
