Hi There From Sunny Brighton.

Hi all

I am a new member from Brighton. I have had my crm for about a month now, I bought it as advertised as a 92 mk 2, but when I turned up to buy it, it turned out to be a 94 mk 3! The condition of it is quite good, but it has an mot failure sheet. 1: rear brake not working (now repaired) 2: hand guard broken, jagged edge (now removed) 3: rear light lens broken(still waiting for one).Hope to take it for a mot in the next week or two and get it back on the road/track where it belongs. I searched for about 10 months for one untill this one turned up (seem thin on the ground down south) and paid £800 for it with an alleged 4300kms on clock (I hope I haven't been mugged). I am very pleased with it so far, been for a blast on mates farm (goes well) I will try and post some pictures so you can draw your own conclusions!
This is my first bike for about 7 years, following a couple of cbr's, ts125x, dt125lc and a dt250mx (wish I hadn't destroyed it ) still i'm a bit older now and fully intend to look after this one, and can't wait to get it up and running properly.Hope to meet up with some of you and go and get it dirty.
I find this forum excellent and very informative and will post some silly questions soon (please be patient with me !)
Sorry to bore you all, I didn't know what to write and now I can't stop!

Hope to meet some of you soon

Paul.

Hi pmac and welcome to the forum.
Your bike looks nice mate, good price too. But get a sump guard on there asap as you will need it.

Hi Pmac and welcome :) Looks as though you got a good bike there for the money. As for questions, ask away, most of the time you will get a sensible reply

Hi Pmac

I've got a sump guard that came with my bike you can have. I'm in Shoreham - and if you come and get it it's yours. It's not an all singing and dancing one, but it served me well.

Hi Pmac ditto the welcome'but untidy that garage a bit before posting up pictures next time please 'some of us have wives who look in occasionally :D :D
That looks a reasonable buy' is it M.O.T.d now and raring to go?
Not sure what the of road situation is in your area'but i think you may be into some traveling'perhaps Surrey or Kent.Im' sure somebody on the forum will know the best area for you to head to.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes and advice , the bike is now taxed and mot'ed. I am over the moon with it. I have posted a couple of questions on the general discussion section under " Legal at last " if anyone gets the time / chance to look. Don't worry about the tidy garage I've been working in there all week and it now looks like a bomb has gone off !
I am hoping to pick up a sump guard this week , thanks to Davey M.(pm sent).

Thanks everyone

Paul.

That's more like it :D There's nothing quite like doing laps in an untidy garage!! [doing laps= looking for something that was right under your nose to begin with   ] or is that just ME.
