I am now seriously getting pissed off with this piece of poo!! Died and will not go again.
What next?? Removed carb, replaced the reeds in case they were distorted, new pilot jet and still it won't start.
I have spent hours on this crap.
I h ate Hondas this is the first and last I will ever own.

A 15 year old abused trail bike is always going to be a bit of a punt. As advised check the basics for continuity,and reliability.
Kill switches are a notorious source of grief, try bypassing it, is there power from the magneto? follow the chain of power, till the fault is found.
A.R.'s are the worst M.K. for amateur mechanics to cut their teeth on.

It has a new Plug, coil, cap, HT lead . when I kick it over the neutral light lights.
Would the reg/rectifier cause this?
I have the two wires from the kill switch tied together, and have just bought a new one from LT to fit.

No spark at the plug?
Is there power at the 3 phase connector block [ 3x yellow wires] near the headstock?

Have you taken the exhaust off and made sure it is not full of fuel?
Sprayed a bit of starter down the throat of the carb and died it run?
What about the choke?
Neutral light coming on is good, it means you are in neutral and the circuit is getting some power. It's now waiting for it to kick over.

As I said before you still did not address the original problem of the leaking carb so it will still fill the crank, pot and exhaust up with petrol.

The leaking carb has been sorted, but there is still too much petrol oil mix in the crankcase.
So I have taken the head and barrel off and managed to remove a load of the mixture from the cases with a syringe and blowing it out with an airline as I don't really want to remove the engine and split the cases.
I am just hoping that I have removed enough. But I am open to suggestions as to other ways of cleaning them out?

Normally, for that I would remove the plug, make sure the ignition is OFF, select second gear and push the bike around for a couple of minutes, compression and vacuum would then empty the crankcases, some evaporation of the remainder could be expected if the plug was left out. Failing that with a buddy invert the whole bike with the plug out, and put the bike in gear and spin the back wheel.
Do you have sparks at the plug?
Bloody hell, I'm wishing I'd called in there when I went through Bodmin the other week.

Severe alternative - Take the tank off and the plug and turn the whole bike upside down over night? The issue maybe that there is a lot of concentrated oil mixture left from the flooding and though that might be mostly drainable the engine might not run properly until you have had a decent run out?
I was down near Bodmin last week too ...........
