Cables are fine! Powervalve can move freely. Any ideas?

Is it set up correctly? Maybe take a video if you can of the bike revving etc and PV movement??

Ok. I think i got it. When i cold startet the bike, it ran good but after
A few turns it startet again in midranges. So i would take a look at the needle
But someone before bustet the screws so i would have to drill them out
To get the needle loose. So if noone tels me that the reed valves have gone, this
Going to be a looong afternoon.

As long as the reed petals are whole and sealing then there is no problem.
Have you checked the PV alighnment with the illustration in the FAQs and manual

Have done the alignment and it seems to run better now.
But the powervalve is going crazy. Testet the reg/rec for and it seems
Ok. Does it somewhere have a capacitor?

capacitor is that big round thing behind the head light and there is a test in the manual - ( basically u watch the resistance rise by plugging a digital meter across it )
what voltage are you getting out the rectifier? is the voltage the same at the back of the ignition key? how about the voltage feeding the capacitor?
have you checked / cleaned the connectors behind the headlight?
any dodgy looking wires..
seemingly random question - but how loud is your horn?
basically when I first got my bike the horn wasnt very loud at all.. odd becos if I used a battery - it was dam loud..
turns out later thru some other issues I found that there was a *partially* shorted wire ( in my case it was a pinched wire where it had been caught at some point between the forks and the point on the frame.. ) anyways it was an ancient fault as the wire was corroded.. once I fixed that my horn became loud and overall ran better.. I suspect not enough juice getting thru to the right places..
( disclaimer - I would never ever use my bike as any standard - as I seem to have bought the most bodged up CRM ever.... I hope yours is better! )

I will check that as soon i got time again. This CRM... i guess somebody pulled it out of a garbage truck. And every service shop around here has tried to do any
practice on it. Graffiti, bodged screws, scratches and nearly every single serviceable thing torn apart and "made-it-fit" standard bolted up again.
Hey fishtail, that thing sounds familiar! My horn isnt loud either. Will check that ASAP!
Thanks for the support! This site ROCKS!

Hi Carbguy, I am also running a large TRX piston and had problems with is running oddly rich and not pulling so well above 3/4 throttle, so I decreased my jets to a 40/140. This is way smaller than your current jets. If you live in a hot climate, I would have expected you to decrease jet size, as hotter air is less dense, so needs less petrol to burn efficiently. I have tried a whole range of jest and it hasn't completely solved the problem, but it's better. Also, you might need to be running a hotter plug to get a good burn. Do a plug chope and see what the plug looks like.
I also think on mine that the gear selector sensor which is attached to the casing under the gear shifter to the CDI could be a problem, as mine rips in 1st- 4rd gear, then seems to bog down over 3/4 throttle only in 5th & 6th.

Wow!
That what i was looking for. I changed the plug and it seems to run better.
Had an 48/132 jet set and it just died at midrange. With 165 it is a bit rich.
I was thinking about that reed valves been wasted because it has the same
Sym. As my first AR with broken reeds. This bike is parting my brain. Found an
Iridium plug from my caldina GT-T, will give it a try.

thanks njhardy.

By the way... Petrol has more then 24% ethanol here. Nothing to be proud of.
