All back together now with Steve's replacement cover. started it back up and the lights started flickering when the clutch lever was pulled in. V odd. Checked behind the headlight and there was some sort of exposed fuse which I wrapped insulting tape around and all is good with the CRM again.

I now have an engine with no hole in the side - just hoping it stays that way!

Must get round to getting a decent front pipe to get rid of the "dented" look.

:shock: You might also want to get round to fitting a sump guard sooner, than, having to source some casings as one of yours has a stone shaped hole in it, it does happen quite frequently.
Other than that she looks fine, personally, i think the small dent will make no appreciable difference to the bikes power output, an you can guarantee that as soon as you blow that dent, you'll topple on that side again :roll:

i agree with you on the sump guard mike alot of protection for not alot of money
