Brake Pads
Brake Pads
Hello fellas. After reading the FAQ section on pads I went to buy some FA185 pads. During my search the FA125 pad was listed as the correct pad for my MD24 MK2. Can anyone tell me what the difference is please? Thank you

Re: Brake Pads
FA185 are sintered.
Re: Brake Pads
Will I be ok with the non-sintered for general road use?

Re: Brake Pads
I was wrong. Actually the pads are slightly different shape.
FA125
FA185
What difference this makes in braking performance or possibly reliability - I don't know, but I've known of both types of pads used on all Mks of CRM??? EBC recommend different shapes for different Mks, I would go with EBC just to be sure.
Both shapes have sintered and conventional pad surfaces.

Re: Brake Pads
Hi fellas. Some help needed here. I'm Trying to change my rear pads. I removed the calliper. How do I get the pad retaining pin out please? It looks like it should come out away from the bike. Thanks
Ah. Didn't realise it needed a hex key. Done.
