hi mate,
make sure your chain is adjusted correctly, to lose and it will rattle it will take up slack with power on and slowing down so may not rattle then. also make sure your chain and sprockets are in good condition.
may not be that but its an easy thing to check first.
mine will rattle when the chain starts to go lose.

Even a bad supply of fuel can cause a bad pinking rattle, as can a needle being too low in the carb.
