Just Bought myself a plastic fuel tank off a 1988 CR250 for £14 inc p&p for my mk 2 off e bay!

best bet for all mods is to look up other members bikes in motards/specials/projects knackered has the cr tank conversion (and other treats) covered i got rid of my metal tank along time ago the difference is very noticeable and when the bike takes a tumble i never have to worry about denting the tank, win win situation

I second that chops. I'm wondering about doing the tank conversion now. And only because I found this site and all the great info. Especially as you say from knackered. I reckon he must be a Japanese Honda bot in the computer...how does he know all this magic! Glad he does though! Thanks knackered.
