CR250 Tank

Just Bought myself a plastic fuel tank off a 1988 CR250 for £14 inc p&p for my mk 2 off e bay!
Project \"make the mk 2 look modern\" is off the starting blocks!!

Get in!!

Gonna put a Hayabusa fairing on it too!!

It looked it from the photo. If nowt else its lighter bein plastic and saves the original getting goosed.

best bet for all mods is to look up other members bikes in motards/specials/projects knackered has the cr tank conversion (and other treats) covered i got rid of my metal tank along time ago the difference is very noticeable and when the bike takes a tumble i never have to worry about denting the tank, win win situation :)

That's sweet, I was looking though that section earlier, knackered knows his CRM's the deeper I dig on here the better it gets, great job site this

I second that chops. I'm wondering about doing the tank conversion now. And only because I found this site and all the great info. Especially as you say from knackered. I reckon he must be a Japanese Honda bot in the computer...how does he know all this magic! Glad he does though! Thanks knackered.
