Hi guy's
right where do start, found a split in reed block rubber from carb, changed that so sorted the air leek'
but went up the road and the bike went worse could not get pass quater throttel,if i hold on stop just realy stutters and loads of smoke,
so changed the carb for my mates and same happens, then i disconected the oil pump and put a bolt in the end of pipe and put some pr mix in and still the same, so surely this must mean that the crank seal has gone on clutch side as it went better with air leek becasue it would go on pipe and reve out.
any ideas guy's as this is becoming a joke.
Thanks Steve.

Diagnosing these kind of problems is really difficult without the bike in front of you and some of the suggestions wouldn't be made if the bike was present and you could hear, see and feel what is happening.

I am going to suggest that you take the PV cover off and just check that it is working.

Hi
the power valve is working , as when cover is off it will move, also when it had the air leek
it went really well but would bog a little after about 2k on full throttle and really low down, mid range was good also run on a bit ?`.
if the crank seals are ok could it just be running two rich ?.
Thanks Steve

You need to look at the basic settings for your model and start from there.
As hinted at by others, by way of an example, trying to guess what's in your pocket and what colour it is, from a description could be a long process.
It is worth checking the needle position etc,
clean the filter'
check the exhaust is all clean and serviceable,
float heights are critical,
the HT and LV systems are free from cruddy contacts,
to start with

So the only difference between before - running lean and now - loads of smoke is 'mending a split in the intake pipe'. Sorry but NO, something else has happened.

I want to be sure that you have checked the PV is still working. Did you take the carb apart when you mended the split :?: .

Hi guy's
had a good weekend on my bike and have come to a decision that
it must be electrical, as changed carb with another, run with needle at top with clip at bottom
no change, checked crank seals nothing, must be electrical, will let you know how we get on this weekend oh and
yes the power valve works fine.
Thanks and will keep you posted.
