Hello every one i am form mansfield had a couple of crm's a few years ago converted one a mk1 to a 95 cr and used it for a good few years before selling it to go 4stroke then lost interest in the whole off roadin thing till a lot of touring on me super tenere now i have the bug again and deeply regret sellin me crm/cr
so i have bought another(good times) and a 99 cr rolling chassis sooooooo any pics on mods ideas pitfalls to watch for would be most greatfull for any input,gonna have look round the post's see what i can turn up but pics an all that wud be great,i have built and modded several bikes over the years so me know me way round em but you can never have enough info

i havn't struck a blow yet but am gonna do a picture diary as i go so when i figure out how to post pics i'll put some up of me old ones and the new

welcome to the forum , seems like there is a crm phenonemen in the area theres now 4 and probably others yet to surface .

Thanks for the welcome,
there are a few round here,there is a good reason i think,having had a few and rode em in anger as well as for pleasure there isn't anything that beats em for an all round good bike,they take a kicking and keep on coming for more with not much maintainance.
so i'm back and if i can get a result close to the one in the link i will be happy,my hat off to the man,that is a sweet AR,the one honda should have made?
any way thanks for that i will have a good look at the pics they do have a good deal of detail,every little bit helps.

not sure where ARs from but its east midlands maybe not too far away to get a proper look and measure up

Thanks superbob,definatley will,which crm do you have?
doing the conversion to cr will take a little while,allthough cr is striped and all the brackets i don't want/need have been chopped off when the engine bushes get done i can mock the engine in and make the new mounts all exciting stuff m8

not a problem mate I have a mk3 what is currently sat in my garage being mardy as its not being used for any green laning but I have a few nice bits coming for it for xmas :)

Active,well i'm sure you don't need me to tell you but that is a good looking conversion,i allways say if they look factory when you've done you've done it well,and that looks well,you should be very pleased

Bob that was the model i was looking for before the alloy cr/crm idea hit me like a sledge hammer,now that is all i have on mind,it will be done asap work allowing,i'm always busy when i have a project on,how annoying !!!!!!!!!!
