It was the oil seal as suggested by Ballistix.

I stripped down the clutch side of the engine and pushed the seal back in and all is fine now (not sure if I needed to take the engine cover off or if I could have just taken the oil pump off but never mind). I have put a couple of pictures on the ...

Far too cold to be in the garage tonight...

There is nothing in the tube on the headstock (mines not clear either so that something else to add to the list).

The pipe comes from the engine just below the carb, slightly to the rhs of the bike.

My bikes a mkII so the oil is in the frame. Its overflowing(?) from one of the rubber hoses that exit under the bike. I'll trace it back to see what it is and also check the level switch when I find out where that is!

thanks

Earth connections all appear to be ok. Still have the problem of two stoke coming out of the overflow. Judging by the amount that has come out I am 99% sure it is not over filled.

I put about 500ml in and started it up and... the oil light is still on. Also, the two stoke I put in is coming out of the overflow ...

CRM & NSR wheels

Bought my '91 CRM250 about a year ago with the intention of rebuilding it as a bit of a project.

I've read on the forum about NSR wheels and when I saw an ad for some I thought I'd give it a go. Ordered them on Monday and am waiting for them to arrive. Any tips on fitting would be appreciated ...
