Re: AR hunting on idle
Hi
Breather hoses from the carb run down to the swing arm.
Is the oil pump working or are you running pre mix?
Have you tried cleaning the carb/jets? Fresh fuel, spark plug ....
Check for a good seal where the carb meets the inlet/airbox manifold.
How does it run at 1/4 throttle?

Re: PWK 33 fine tune
Hi Denes
Just looking on a KDX forum as it has pwk33/35 as stock. R1173N needle similar to BGP needle is popular.
I’m experiencing rich running from 1/8 -3/4 throttle. WOT is fine.
http://www.kyajet.de/?lang=en this is a helpful jetting calculator!
Will report back when I get somewhere.

Re: Mk2 1/4 to 1/2 throttle flat spot
Just done a compression test,
With the engine COLD I'm getting 125psi with fuel tap on and off (at WOT)
Engine HOT I'm getting 100psi with tap on and off!

Re: Mk2 1/4 to 1/2 throttle flat spot
Okay, thank you for the reply guys. Compression tester coming Wednesday
Fmf system has only done a few 100 miles at most, so should be okay. Breathers are all clear and have checked float measurement. Float needle has a good point too.
Will report back on compression test Wednesday pm.

Recently bought this bike and its in pretty good nick, with a recent service. It has 30,000km on the clock and no service history. I believe it has been stored for some time.
The bike idles well, starts okay and will keep up with crf's at WOT.

Hi Everyone
This a great site with lots info, I like it.
My first Crm 250 was sadly stolen 2 months after I bought it. It was a mk2 with just over 1000kms on the clock, GUTTED!
However, that was over 10 years ago and 2 months is long enough to realise how great these bikes are!
