Re: PWK on a Mk2
PWK38 fits not so good.
I've changed std boot port and reed valve to boyesen RAD-02 from CR250'89. It fits ok, and has metal pipe plus rubber port wich is very useful to fit non-standart carb.
The other side of carb is too big for CRM's airbox, so i've grinded some metal from carb with file. Now it ...

Re: technical ignition, pulse generator question
here is the map of pulses:

I don't know, why they made it so complicated. Maybe because of active radical system - to be able to measure acceleration of the flywheel (and so to know current compression ratio, etc.).

Re: Gasoline octane number?
So I need to tune ignition too, right? :)
The idea is to make little microcontroller based device to plug it between ignition sensor coils and ECU. This device measures current rpm and advances or retards standard ignition maps with own values.
We should be able to choose the amount of retading ...

Gasoline octane number?
Did not find the answer so asking now.
What is the minimum octane number for CRM mk3 when it will work without detonation? Here I'm running on 92 gasoline (regular) and I think it's ok, but can I use 80 or 76? The aim is not to save money but to ride to some places where 76 only exists.

Preparations for swimming
Hi all! My CRM now is disassembled and I noticed that it's good time to prepare it for fords crossing.
1. First of all I want to connect some hose to air filter and make snorkel. The other end of that hose need to be placed near steering wheel. Before we want to cross very deep water, we can close ...
