Re: Not really new anymore.....but thought i'd show my ol' CRM
Must be the "land on rock" test they do from factory!:) There's a couple of other small ones as well, but not too bad.
I was thinking of having them pulled out, but doesn't seem to be effecting things too much.

Re: Hey all! Newb about to have a look at a crm250ar any tips?
My CRM is a Mk2 (pre AR), my brothers is a 99' AR. I absolutely love the way these things ride.A bloke i ride with has a 2003 YZF250 motocross bike, but can't keep with the CRM in a straight line, and this was before i rebuilt it. Dan just picked his up a week ago and was extremely impressed with ...

Re: Hey all! Newb about to have a look at a crm250ar any tips?
I'm from Newcastle originally, moved to sydney for work a few years back, but still head back once a fortnight, i still ride there, at killingworth, west wallsend, singleton, etc.
I personally think 2,500 to 3,000 depending on what it looks like when u see it. Knackered MK1's advice to me when i was ...

Re: Exhaust gasket / poor starting
There's a store at liverpool called bikeparts, next door to red baron motorcycles. They got me spare gaskets for when i did my rebuild.
Another store that supplied me with a full gasket kit was All 2-strokes (i think that's their name) at windsor.
If you need pistons, rings, gudgeons, Wossner in ...

Re: Not really new anymore.....but thought i'd show my ol' CRM
When i flipped it, i tore up the original setup, so i thought if i mount the taillight really high, it might survive if i do it again :)
The GPZ was a labour of love.....took me 3 years to build out of two wrecks.
I could never part with it now, it turns a few heads, due to the scarcity of decent ...

Re: Hey all! Newb about to have a look at a crm250ar any tips?
There are a few blokes in sydney and one i know of on the central coast.
If you could pick that bike up for around $3,000, i think it would be a good buy.
The k's on that bike aren't really that low, My brother just bought an immaculate 99' with 3,000 on it for $3,500 (probably rare with k's this ...

Re: Rebuilt and going strong!!!
I've already disconnected the pump, seems to run really well.......
unfortunately i'm not. I went riding on the weekend and flipped it, hyper-extending my knee.
good news i suppose is that there is no damage to the bike!!
And i can say that it is running really hard.
Looks like it'l be a couple ...

Rebuilt and going strong!!!
Hi again,
Just finished the rebuild on my mark 2,
the wossner oversize piston went straight in (as it should), thankfully i checked th rc valve before sealing it all up as it was going to foul on the piston, which i'm sure would not be pretty!!
Anyway, i filed it down and reassembled the motor ...

More questions from the inquisitive
I'm just thinking through the reasons for the seizure that happened to the poor mark 2.
i'm just wondering if it is receiving sufficient oil in the mix and whether it would be better to covert to premix.
Is there a way to adjust the oil feed to the cylinder and how do you know monitor this, is it a ...
