Not sure on dates as I have just been made redundant and am uncertain on where my future employment lies.

Oh my Lord. DOH !

Went to change the front disc pads on my MK3 and the screw mount that goes through the pads snapped. I spent the afternoon at a mates place and fashioned a new one out of an old bolt with a bench grinder and file.
Guess what, just gone to change the back pads and it has happened again, start to undo ...

Not sure of the numbers of the sections. They both involved water.
When and where do the results get published? I expect to come 149th out of 150, LOL.

Mike. If you know of any more similar events within a 2 to 3 hour drive from me, let me know as I have the bug !

Nice to meet you Mike. I thought it was an excellent event albeit a baptism of fire for me and I did not attempt 3 of the sections.
I think I will be a regular at this sort of event.

Bingo. The bloke that won them turned them down when he found out they won"t fit a mk2.2.
I am now the proud owner and will be fitting next wek. Yippee.
